Our summer show this year will be on Sunday 17 July 2011.  We will be running two showing rings this year to try and get things moving along a bit  quicker.  Each of these rings will then hold their own Championship Class.  

We have this year, affiliated to the South West Pony Association so those that qualify in the relevant showing classes will be able to attend the SWPA Championships to be held 9-11 September at the David Broome Event Centre, Crick, Gwent.  Details of how to qualify are enclosed in our show schedule.

For those that like to do dressage we are also a qualifier for The Dressage Championships of Great Britain to be held 7-9 October 2011 at the David Broome Event Centre, Crick, Gwent.  To qualify you need to attain 57% or above in the Prelim Test.  Further details are enclosed in our show schedule.

It is a fun show without too much pressure as we want everyone to enjoy themselves, however, the usual rules will apply regarding dress and tack permitted in the showing and dressage classes.

• Dressage - Walk & Trot Test Intro B 2009 & BD Prelim 14 2006 
• In-hand & Ridden Showing Classes - Best Mare, Best Gelding, Best Turned Out, M&M, Coloured, Cob, Best Riding Club Horse/Pony, Best Youngstock (1 to 4 yrs old), Best Veteran (15 yrs & over)
• Clear Round Jumping - height to suit, £3.00 per round
• Showjumping - starting with minimus, going up to 2ft 9"
• Chase-Me-Charlie if time & sufficient entries

Refreshments will be available all day.  Potty Ponys Tack Shop will be present and the show photography will be done by Pablopion Photography.

Admission to both dressage classes is by entry form only, with payment of £8 per class.  (Test sheets are available from BEC if SAE is sent.)  Entry to all other classes is £6 if pre-paid via entry form, or £7 per class if enter and pay on day.  Closing date for dressage entries is 13 July 2011.  Times available 14 July between 6pm and 9pm from Ruth on 0780 170 8606.  The dressage classes will be split into Juniors/Seniors, Juniors 16 and under.
